This is a fledgling list of resources for aspiring and emerging writers to develop their skills regarding writing point of view (PoV). I welcome suggested additions; please comment below.
Please note: I don’t guarantee the quality of each suggestion because I haven’t had time to read everything yet.
I urge writers to read Some Kind of Fairy Tale by Graham Joyce. It is a masterclass in point of view. There are several points of view in this very short book (possibly a novella) but I never lost track of whose chapter it was. If the epigraph didn’t convey the point of view character sufficiently, then I knew within the first one or two sentences. Joyce was a highly skilled author, I am in awe.
