Concatenation update

The Spring 2013 edition of SF2 Concatenation http://www.concatenation.org is
now up with seasonal news and loads of reviews (fiction and non-fiction) plus a couple
of stand-alone convention reports.

See http://www.concatenation.org/whatsnew.html for the full edition’s contents.

SF2 Concatenation only does three seasonal editions a year.  Though not Australian, it may be of interest as it summarises much SF news with a Brit-European perspective.
Also many of the books reviewed may well be soon available in Australia if they are not already.

Womanthology

Fanboy comics says:

We all know the story of Womanthology by now, the fantastic comic anthology series created entirely by women. Womanthology: Space continues with an amazing issue containing three very different stories, all set around the theme of a star.

Lindsay C. Walker, formerly Mick Collins and the creator of these awesome Hogswatch decorations, is involved in this edition of Womanthology.

AWW2012 challenge again

This time it’s Shaheen’s young adult spec fic wrap up, sending a ping-back to Dark Matter so I couldn’t miss it!

Nerdlife – song and video

I’m not sure if the biggest joke is the direct content or a nerdy white guy rapping, but here you go:

New twist in euthanasia debate

Deaf brothers euthanased in Belgium: there is a fear that once euthanasia is an accepted practice, we’ll end up with Andra-style compulsory euthanasia, especially for the disabled community.

Writers, get your pens at the ready.  Spec fic, now GO!
