More Club Nintendo merchandise 🙂 I ordered the Super Mario 3D World (SM3DW) soundtrack since I thought it would be a nice collectible to have.
It’s a 2CD set that comes in a proper plastic jewel case. It also includes a booklet with some funny artwork and a short description of each of the 77 tracks.
As those who have played the game will know, the soundtrack heavily relies on big band/jazz music, though there are a few other styles thrown in (my favourite is the eerie violin number, ‘Shifty Boo Mansion’). There are also a few in-game sound effects on the CD as well.
The CD is definitely worth having as the developers did a great job on the soundtrack. I really hope they do one for Donkey Kong Country Returns: Tropical Freeze.
