Today at Supanova was busy and fun. It’s already 8:30pm and tomorrow will be a full day too, so I’ll just leave you with the photos. Words will come later. So will interviews: today I interviewed Hugh Howey and Skye Melki-Wegner. I’m planning to catch up with more authors tomorrow.
If you are a book lover or aspiring author, GET THEE TO SUPANOVA TOMORROW. Today’s panels were great and tomorrow’s panels look awesome!

- Just a few cunning hats
- “How are your brothers?” “What? Different clan of Baldwins. Wikipedia IS YOUR FRIEND.”
- “Who would win in a fight, Casey or Jayne?” “You’re a trouble-maker… Jayne would win in a straight-up fight because he’s younger, but Casey would out-stealth Jayne.”
- If you sell cunning hats and give the money to Joss’ favourite charity, Equality Now, what are they going to do?
- I took the head of the statue. The next day the producer called me up and asked me if I took it. They needed to reshoot it, so there’s a crack in the neck, because I took the head.
- Independence Day 2, he’s older, maybe he’s got more stars.
- Type-casting is a career. Nate called me up and asked if I could do Slaughter – Jayne meets Dirty Harry – see? Typecasting is good.
- I’d like to move away from doing violence to the weak and do violence to the bad.
- Joss made me promise never to sing the Hero of Canton again. It’s on YouTube. But I can whistle it.
‘The Hero of Canton’ aka ‘The man they call Jayne’, sung by Adam Baldwin.
