Karen Gillan shaves her trademark locks for movie role
Karen Gillan, aka Amy Pond in Doctor Who, shaved her auburn locks for her role of Nebula in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Earlier today I saw a dual photo of Karen wearing a wig then laughing after revealing its wiggyness, with bald head. Sadly I can’t find it now, but below is a photo of her baldliness.
Fan reactions have been very mixed. Many have been worried she has cancer or hopeful that she shaved to raise money to fight cancer. Some fans are excited to see her in a new role, while others are outraged that Karen is now sporting an alien ‘do’ instead of constantly striving for mainstream attractiveness.
My vote? Push the boundaries. Have a career.
