Fifteen authors have taken the reins to write this collection of short stories based on Charlaine Harris’ Sookie Stackhouse series. From major characters like the sexy Eric Northman and his progeny Pamela De Beaufort to minor characters like werewolf Mustapha Khan and ex-fangbanger Desiree Dumas.

Dead but not Forgotten is the perfect book for anyone who loves the Sookie Stackhouse series. Edited by Charlaine Harris, the tales allow insight into what has been happening to characters from the series, either while the spotlight was on Sookie’s adventures or after the spotlight faded.

Most short story collections have stories that shine more than others; Dead but not Forgotten is no different in this regard. However, the stories that standout far outnumber the few average tales.

If you’re a fan of the Sookie Stackhouse series and not quite ready to let the end be the end, Dead but not Forgotten is a must-read.
