This is both the bookshelves in the hall, with the one not previously pictured closer to the camera. I can't photograph this shelf straight on because HALL. And no door opposite.
My mate Bloomsbury Sydney tweeted a shelfie, that is a photo of their office bookshelves that, surprisingly, contain BOOKS.
This was interpreted as a challenge for those who, like me, could put a PUBLISHER’S bookshelves to shame. Unfortunately I realised all my photos of my bookshelves are at least one or two years out of date, so I took MOAR PHOTOS.
These are NOT all the books in my house. These are MOST of them, those not in boxes and those not scattered around in ones and twos and those not in electronic format.

Shelfies

The bookshelves in the hall are about 7ft high and 3ft wide. There are two. Sadly when we tried to get a matching pair they were no longer available.
These are the shelves in the bedroom. As a general rule, the books are MINE ALL MINE BAHAHA and the discy things belong to my partner. I’m prepared to share my review DVDs and Blurays. Aren’t I nice?
This is the only bookshelf in the actual office – NEED MOAR BOOKSHELVES
These are the shelves in the back bedroom aka the ‘studio’. As I’ve hardly created any art since moving to Melbourne the title ‘studio’ is becoming more laughable as time goes by. Also note some boxes, also containing books. There may be more boxes of books in the garage too.
This is the only actual bookshelf in the living room. At the moment. >.>
The spare bed (in the office) doubles as a bookshelf
The weird technology in this photo shows the photo post-dates mid-2013 when I purchased my desktop magnifier to make reading faster and easier.
Books on the dining table because BOOKS. These are also either recently received or awaiting reviewers (who are overseas or on holiday)
Books, books everywhere, on the bed and on the stair…
