Albinism representations

Updated preamble

I’m still researching representations of albinism in popular culture. Now I’m no longer in the toxic waste dump that is academia, I can take my time and do it without being ground into depressed meat paste in the academic mill. (I say ‘depressed’ because the university’s introductory training indicated a high rate of post-graduate researchers develop depression and other mental health problems. You’d think they’d do something about that. )

I’m looking to add news articles, books, TV, movies, blog posts, reviews of things that includes albinism, a person with albinism or a very white person.

These representations can be good, bad or ugly. They can be intentional like Michael Pryor’s Extraordinaires character or unintentional like Anna Smaill’s Lucien in The Chimes. They can be medically accurate representations like Lucien or wildly inaccurate like the albino in The Heat and the villainous white people in The Silence of Medair.
