About Dark Matter Zine

Dark Matter Zine’s goal is to engage with creativity, culture, literature and publishing. Contributors express their loves and rants, promoting awareness of content (books, films etc) and creators.

Dark Matter Zine began life in 2010 as an independent PDF fanzine – an informal magazine – exploring literature, TV, movies, art, life, the universe and everything. I launched the first version of this website on 29 April 2012.

Since then Dark Matter Zine‘s focus expanded to include all genres, fiction and non-fiction.

Dark Matter Zine is a fan publication funded out of my own pocket with some assistance from donations. Donations will be acknowledged in ‘thank you’ posts. (Note: I had a Paypal account that received one donation in 2010 or 2011 then everything broke! Years later Paypal told me they deleted every paypal account I linked to any email address. One day maybe I’ll figure out how to set up something that doesn’t break!)

With the current social media diaspora and my need to find a work/life balance, future social media use is in the “to be decided” basket.

Trolls, flamers and senders of dubious or explicit content

I will blacklist trolls, flamers and senders of dubious or explicit content in any form (e.g. email or comments on posts). Depending on the severity of the harassment, this may include legal action, reporting to the appropriate authorities and ‘outing’ perpetrators.
